LBW was commissioned to design a garage with studio above, providing views from the studio over the landscape and ocean. The design is a contemporary response to the local vernacular, with a simple material pallet of grey stained cedar and steel. The entry to the studio is provided by way of cantelivered steel steps to a steel surrounded portal.
